Holistic practitioner faces charges for treatment

    The Associate Press

WHEAT RIDGE - A holistic health practitioner could face several charges
after a 17-year-old girl went into cardiac arrest after one of his
    treatments.

Brian O'Connell, 36, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of criminal
impersonation, practicing medicine without a license, assault and theft, say
    police.

    Ultraviolet Light
Ultraviolet light is a form of radiation which is not visible to the human
eye. It's in an invisible part of the "electromagnetic spectrum".

Ultraviolet light rays with specific wave lengths are germicidal, destroying
viruses, bacteria, and fungi. The ultraviolet component of sunlight is the
main reason microbes die in the outdoor air. The ultraviolet energy
available from ultraviolet lamps; however, is a "much more concentrated and
powerful level of UV energy than found in sunlight".

Using ultraviolet light is using the science of photochemistry.
Photochemistry is the chemical reaction or change in a material induced by
    the radiation of light energy.

Ultraviolet waves that are responsible for causing our sunburns.

Sounds like this 'O'Connell' guy sunburned the poor kids blood with
radiation that was much more concentrated than sunlight.

    ===================
If Ultraviolet light destroys virus, bacteria and fungi in the air.....why
not expose a persons blood to it?

And if beach also kills germs.....why not just filter someone's blood
through a gallon jug of bleach? Yeah, that's the ticket! Dr. Frankenstein
    where are you?????

Seems the question is whether the guy did the procedure correctly, NOT
whether the procedure works or not. But hawki, cannot see clearly enough to
understand that. Hawki attacks naturopaths instead. Just another example of
    ingrained dishonesty.
Hawki thinks that removing blood and filtering it is ok. Yikes! yah

Seems the question is whether the guy did the procedure correctly, NOT
whether the procedure works or not.

    The important questions are:

    1. Is the procedure safe?
    2. Is it effective?

If not, then it is either dangerous, or useless, and to charge for such a
treatment is fraud. You must support fraud.

Naturopaths should be attacked as practising a fraudulent profession.

Remember, Naturopath is the politically correct term for "Witch Doctor."

  7. There's a more complete story on this matter in The Rocky Mountain News
    online.

I'm not sure exactly WHO hasn't "seen anything like this in 25 years"
since Dr. Brian O'Connell only appears to be 36 years of age.

And, 99.99% of the people who have this procedure do not die. Once again,
the point is that this guy may have did it incorrectly.
