    up. I have a question for you. What is the best cut of
    corned beef to get? Is it the round or the brisket? Thank

    Flat cut. The more expensive cut. Natch.

    Thin cut is more expensive and less fatty. Thick cut is just
    the opposite but i think it has a better taste. I will
    usually cook them both.

    Keep in mind, both shrink quite a bit.

    Here, you can get flat cut or point cut. I understand the
    point cut is fatter/more gristly/whatever. Since it's half
    the price per pound, I am sure that is true.
