who ideally....

Yep.
Quoted message said:- do a decent distance. I've found some that do an average of maybe 30
miles per day. 60-80 would be more my thing.
45 miles per day too much?
Quoted message said:- reasonably cushy and supported. I've already got a couple of fully
laden
weeks in Germany booked for August so could do with some luxury.
(Although by 'luxury' I mean not having to carry my own stuff, camping
isn't a problem.)
Not sure how well supported, looks OK
Quoted message said:- Italy would be my favourite destination, but anywhere reasonably warm.
The altitude might be a bit of a problem when it comes to warmth, but it's
not cold.
Quoted message said:- cheap and plentiful beer.
Cusqueña and Arepequeña are cheap and plentiful...
Quoted message said:- the odd decent sized mountain.
Are the Andes big enough?

I've been to many of the places in the tour, and they are definitely worth
seeing. I've not ridden a bike in Peru though. I think I'd avoid riding in
Lima, it looks as bad as I've seen anywhere for driving.
I've no idea whether the holiday company is any good, it looks reasonably
priced.
