I take RAWs and I've been trialling CaptureOne to process them. For we
gallerys, it can do bulk processing but for the cyclingnews pics I g
through and individually adjust, crop, sharpen and then output th
"good" ones. It is a total pain

Lag is a big factor with digital cameras. All compact digitals suffe
from noticeble lag (unless they've improved them greatly in the last
months?) DSLRs are much less prone to lag (hence their cost) and that'
why the pro's tend to use them - work like a film camera but with _much
less "development" time
