if its not a Malvern Star, how can it possibly be a dragster.
    And where's the stick shift?

and yep, ToysRus $299 - does anyone sell replacement rear tires or tubes?

hehe.. reckon those wheels would be fast enough for Glenvale?

Look at the hub and spokes sizes compared to the rim..

"for boys ages 8 to 12" - mental age, then I'm fine..

"the Schwinn Sting-Ray is guaranteed for life" - guaranteed
    to do what exactly?

$82 postage, no insurance.. no thanks.

I saw a couple of these go for $600+ Thursday night on EBay.
You can pick them up at ToysRUs (in tue's catalogue) for ~ $400.

Very little I'd reckon, after you head down the first hill and cannon out in
front of a bus. Only one brake (is this legal on Australian roads?) and it's
a cable handbrake on the rear wheel! This thing should not be let out of the
    backyard.

    Cheers
    Peter

It is in Victoria. Road rule 258(a).

The TV ad shows riding on the road THREE abreast, which is illegal.
Does that make the TV ad illegal ?

You could always try for incitement, I guess.

Anyway, speaking of el cheapo bikes, I saw boxes of self-assembly 26" bikes
at Kmart today for $79 ($20 off!). I shuddered and walked past.
