Early? Middle? Late? You might want to post the outlines of your 16 week plan. I'm just offering
off the cuff generic advice....Well, if hills are a fact of life, and you have to cruise up and down just
to get your miles in, then you jog them all through your training.I end up running hills all the time, but I do zip up the intensity on hills
(both up and down) about half way through my training cycle. If you mean specific moderate intensity hill workouts in preparation to
peaking for a race, then I'd add them on week 8 or 9, maybe two times/week.That's the way I've always done it (based on Lydiard and Marty Liquori's
advice). -
Whenever you run up or down one.

Early...........it's never too soon to learn you have the stamina of a
housefly.
