  1. E-mailed my response to the Highway Code consultation off to the e-mail
address on the DSA website in time for the deadline of May 10 and what
    do I get back?

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
    <[email hidden]>
    (reason: 552 Mailbox full.)

    Great!!!

Seems they're not checking the emails, adding them to a database then
deleting them. Maybe nobody is even looking at them!

I did get a paper acknowledgement to my paper letter so at least that works.

Yeah, likewise. I think I'll try again tomorrow morning, then use the clunky
online form to give my feedback if necessary.

Anyone got a fax number for the DSA consulation? Their site is not forthcoming.

I posted mine about 18 hours before you, and didn't get an error. Your
post had me worried, though. Thankfully, I've just received an
    acknowledgement.

BTW, the following was posted to the Bath Cycling Campaign mailing list
    today:

Some people have received 'mailbox full' when attempting to send their
Highway Code consultation to Driving Standards Agency. If this happens
try again and if necessary send it to the following who is the person
    dealing at dsa.

Has anyone had anything more of an acknowledgement out of teh online
system than teh next screen that gives you a code (HC12345 type
format)? I've submitted a number of comments on teh online form, but
not got anything further in teh way of acknowledgement. Now, with
evidence of computer fallibility at teh DSA, I'm nervous.

I couldn't e-mail mine over the weekend because their mailbox was full
so sent it off to the Consultation Coordinator instead. Have just had
an e-mail back with a grovelling apology saying the site s working now.

No. There also doesn't seem to be a "see what I wrote" feature either.
Consequently I sent my comments to the now-working e-mail address as well.
