High-end Fluid Trainer

I don't know of any fluid trainer that you can hook up to a computer to do
"virtual" rides. With the exception of the high-end Tacx models (which are
motor-driven) the trainers that either measure or control load are
electromagnetic.

If you're not wedded to the virtual stuff, you might consider getting an
on-bike power meter and a regular cheap trainer.

the ad that Elite have been running to promote their trainers?

The one with the Fattie in the WereldKampioen jersey passing
the bottle to a guy in a Yellow jersey.

I'm not sure it would be "ultimate" unless you combined it with
www.tacx-video.com and the steering frame.
