Welcome aboard 🙂 I know Lancashire, as I remember it rains a lot there and country roads are very narrow. Where in Lancashire are you? I used to live near Blackburn, I biked around where I lived on Blackburn Rd. Very hilly but it was good enough for me.

Thanks 😄 I live in Lancaster, it does rain quite a bit but at the moment we are in the middle of a very unseasonal heat wave, so off out on the road bike later! There is some great road riding to be had in the county!

I see you live somewhere far sunnier now. 🙂

Yes, and I cannot say I miss the rain 😄 But I do miss being surrounded by green landscape everywhere.
