Im new to this Group i am currently running cross country but i had to
quit because i suffered a brokencollar bone the day before a meet. Im
14 years old and run for fun! My fastest mile ever was 5 min 12 sec.

I agree with Edward. It sounds like you are doing very well with your
running. After you are done with your time off from running, just make
sure you get back into it slowly. The worst thing you can do is jump
right back in at full speed after being off for a while.Good luck!
p.s.-make sure you are balancing your studies and running. Each one
will make you stronger in the other. -

Wait for your collar bone to recover fully, and then get back into it. This
sport is a long term commitment, if you want to do well in it. Keep at it, be
patient, and you'll get really fast.best of luck,
