I was wondering if there was an effective way to truncate the thread
in this group and end its presence by posting posts with rbr off the
distribution, but it would take a while. Wonder how long its been
going on on the other lists? If its like the helmet threads on some
bike groups, maybe we need to start the effort...

I'm not sure whether to say thanks or not. I had been ignoring that
thread because those things are usually populated by some of the lowest
forms of life known to man. Now I had to go read it, and once again I
was only mildly surprised at the level discourse. There isn't a single
rbr regular, including Tosi, who even approaches the low level of a
bunch of those people. Even beginning to mention Brian with that group
is an incredible stretch. He has as much in common with them as a human
does with a cockroach, though a bunch of people there are doing their
best to raise cockroaches to a new level and make the PETA case that
animals definitely are worth more than some human beings.

Personally I think that thread may do more for RBR harmony than even Ken's
Pictures board did.
