I think their nuke program is an attempt to be a 'big player' in the
world. Quite like a child who wants attention and doesnt get it,
negative attention is better than none at all. Now its more like you
HAVE to pay attention to us now! And the sad part is, the US is
handling this so stupidly by not agreeing to one on one talks with
them. Instead the US insists that North Korea must again negotiate with
the other countries they talked with before in failed 2003 talks
(China, Japan, South Korea, Russia & the US) but North Korea only wants
to talk with the US at this time.

Of course all countries lie about what kind of weapons or developements
they have, its a given espionage thing. Voting? Priorities? Yeah watch
as they vote to nuke your backyard.

Certainly a silly remark, because if they let the nukes fly, the whole
world will suffer, not just the westcoast. However, because I live on
the westcoast, I would rather go quickly in a blast than linger on with

Some countries are desperate to acquire nukes in order to deter a
possible terror attack by the bu$h regime. Since the bu$h regime
rejects international treaties, conventions, and law, and will
launch preemptive terror attacks without cause, nuclear capability
is seen as the only defense. bu$h's insanity is actively encouraging
war and nuclear weapons proliferation.
