Nowadays, big hospitals do not use herbal medicine in treating patients. Even the small hospitals do not do that. Does herbal medicine cause problems in treatment or what?

Nowadays, big hospitals do not use herbal medicine in
treating patients. Even the small hospitals do not do that.
Does herbal medicine cause problems in treatment or what?

You need to discuss with your prescribing doctor what effect
herbal medicine can have on the drugs you are taking. Some
herbs have serious contraindications with
prescription/synthetic drugs.

There just aren't a lot of standardized herbal remedies in
the US that would be candidates for hospital use. I don't
think there's anything sinister about it.
For example, I don't know of any powerful herbal
antibiotics, anesthetics, etc.

Or................ Another way to put it. You need to
discuss with your Herbalist what drugs interact in what
manner with the herbs that you use. Your Herbalist is far
more likely to know about such things than a doctor.
