  1. Hi,

    I'm a 22yr old guy, 72kg (160 pounds), 180cm (~ 5'11). I think I've
hit a bit of a wall where I'm maintaining strength but only very
gradually putting more on. It seems to coincide a lot with my weight -
it always seems to stabilise around this level and my strength with
    it.

Anyway I'm looking to put on a bit more weight so I'm more in the
75-80kg range but I don't want to waste time and money eating [censored]
food. Here's (roughly) my current diet:

    Breakfast
    ---------
    2 sausages, cereal
    Lunch
    ------
1.5 sandwiches, apple, hamburger (not maccas or anything) or subway
    6inch
    Dinner
    ------
various - often meat or fish and potatoes or chips, ice cream
    Evening
    -----
protein drink (after gym), snack on cheese, biscuits etc.

What would be some good foods to add in? Esp. stuff that can be heated
in our microwave at the office. I'm one of the those people who has
trouble gaining weight so I spose I need something high in carbs??

    Thanks for any suggestions

    Tim

For balanced nutrition and micronutrients you should really try to eat
some vegetables! There are other benefits to eating more veges,
too...like being able to [censored] more than once a week...

I'm going to die rather sooner than I'd like. I tried to protect my
neighbours from crime, and became the victim of it. Complications in
hospital following this resulted in a serious illness. I now need a bone
marrow transplant. Many people around the world are waiting for a marrow
transplant, too. Please volunteer to be a marrow donor:

Peanut butter, milk. Stir a spoonful of peanut butter into your oatmeal
and/or your protein drink, make your oatmeal with milk instead of water,
drink milk instead of (soda, coffee, juice, water, beer, et cetera).

Drink skimmed or low fat milk. Those saturated fats soon add up otherwise!
