Spot on -I can't agree more. I reckon that's exactly what they have said as that is exactly what Bush has said for the past 4 years. Can you tell me why Bush didn't sign the Kyoto protocol? Because it's bad for american companies that rely on burning fossil fuels. [censored] the rest of the world! It's bad for America.

The American public doesn't know any better as they are fed rubbish news by the state owned media agencies (have a look at how Fox network covered the war in Iraq - laughable if you try to call that journalism).

Me, I'm as against terrorism as much as anyone but you really have to start asking yourself why people can hate America so much. This site goes a long way to answering some of those questions.

As I said, I stumbled in to that site - I was looking for opinions about the rpaidly devaluing US dollar - and this site afforded some opinions as to why the dollar is
devaluing on the foreign currency exchange.
As I said earlier, I genuinely did not see the reference to America on it's leader page, as I was more interested in one of it's articles.

That is an ingenious site because of it's novel idea of putting the profits of selling short to other more socially conscious groups such as Sierra Club, which i joined last week. Heard of that one Lim. I did it because I'm an outdoors man & i also want the land to be available to future generations for them to enjoy.

Thanksgiving - national holiday over there in Stateside : is it true that it's a bigger holiday than Christmas ?

I have no problem attacking the avarice and greed of Multinational corporations and the AMerican government. But there are still some Americans with some integrity, although it appears that the majority of Americans would sell their soul their soul in order to keep gas prices down for their SUV's

If you think that a company is not of your expectations, then don't buy their products. If you want to contribute to Greenpeace, then do so. In the UK, the Green Party were considered to be a nuisance to the Governments. The population were sympathetic towards them, but they had no credibility as to an alternative government. What happened was that the main parties took these concerns on board, and addressed them with serious regard. Now do tell us what is the attitude of the the people vis a vis the refusal of Bush & Co to sign to the Kyoto agreement (accord) as to reducing world pollution, or are you all going to fcuk off to Mars?

Hey, listen to this one. It's absolutely true, I used to drink daily with Father Christmas, although he used another name. He would come in the pub, buy a glass of beer, and sit and watch us playing snooker. Out of his inside pocket he charged his glass from a half bottle of whisky, and spent all afternoon in the place. He was a well spoken Englishman of good mannerisms, and a man of very few words, who dressed like a ne'er do well. In fact, he could have been a tramp coming in to keep himself warm, he was not a gregarious person. My friends daughter told me that he had changed his name by deed poll and was a banker of great renown in that world of commerce. He just packed the whole lot in, and was happy being a decadent of substantial means. Any wealthy decadents out there?
