  1. I'm about to go away for the weekend with a couple of thin girlfriends who can eat for England...
its gonna be hard trying not to keep up with them... especially as we're staying at a pub with a
    carvery tomorrow nite...

If I go off the rails somewhat over the two days, as we're visiting an exhibition and eating is
going to be "grab whats available", do I even bother to try and point what I'm having, or shall I
just be careful and have a good time - and start again on Monday?

  2. you must do what you are most comfortable with. I would have to point it
but I am very anal. Whatever you choose, YOU be the one to decide and stick
with it and don't feel guilty, have a nice time, Lee

  3. You can always try. Even carverys will usually do salad or veg to go with the meat - so that's a
start. I recommend still trying to do the best you can - make the best choices possible, even if
they might not be the most ideal WW choice, there's always worse you could be doing. Damage
limitation as opposed to blowing it completely, if you see what I mean.

Point it out of interest, but don't sweat if you go over. You will be more aware of how and why you
gain if you do. It may not show this week, but if you do gain, don't let it get you down. If you CAN
save a few points for the weekend, do. Otherwise, yes, have the weekend off, and start again Monday.
    Have a good time!

  5. Lee m'dear - I would never call anyone anal except myself!!! I guess I'm still fairly new at
this lark, and am torn between wanting to do the right thing, and diving head first into the
    dessert cart...

  6. My definition of anal is I am beginning my week 59 this wed. In all that
time I have filled out the journal each and every day, and in all that time,
only one time have I ever been over points for a week, watch for that post,
and that was by about three points and individual days of being over point
are about five total and I always have made up the points, so like I said,
do what you are comfortable but the important thing is you are choosing and
when you choose and it belongs to you there is NO guilt, Lee

  7. I have spent the past week at my mothers. We tend to eat out a lot when we visit her for the
holidays so I know what you are going through. Stick with chicken or turkey w/o skin with lots of
veggies or salads and you can't go wrong. Have your dressing on the side so that you limit the
amount of points used on dressing. Shrimp is another good choice. So are low fat subs at some fast
food places would keep you on track. BTW, don't try and keep up with your girlfriends. It's not
worth it. If you make the right choices it won't matter if you keep track of your points. Have a
    good time.

  8. I would try and count whatever you can, that way you may have control over
part of what you are eating. Just hang in there and do what you can.
Definitely start fresh on Monday. 🙂 GOOD LUCK!
