help on this bike!!!

Nice bike, but at your current weight you might have an issue with the low spoke count and the cross 1 spoke lacing. You might want to consider purchasing a pair of wheels with a higher spoke count and cross 3 lacing to use until you are a little closer to 200. And once you reach your weight goal, you can sell the extra wheels or keep them as a spare wheelset or for training if you end up riding competitively.

Just be sure that your bike shop does a fitting for you. The biggest reason that people stop riding is because their bike doesn't fit them and it is too uncomfortable to ride. Also, if you haven't test ridden about a dozen or more bikes, make sure that you do that because that is the only real way of finding the right bike for you.

Nice bike. Have you had a chance to ride it or one like it? BMC makes some good bikes and you won't be disappointed by the Shimano 105 drivetrain. The only thing that I cannot vouch for is the Scor brakes and handlebars. I don't have any experience with them but they will probably be good. And if they aren't very good, a set of 105 brake calipers is not that expensive.

choose that bike with the price so i can work with the upgrades. going to test it out tuesday at the lbs. couldn't tell if the tires where ok or not.

With the exception of the Scor parts, there doesn't seem to me much that I would upgrade on this bike. You might be good with the Scor components too. Like I said, I have never encountered them before and they might be prime equipment for all I know. From the short Internet search that I tried, it seems that the Scor is a division of BMC, sort of the way Bontrager is a division of Trek. The Continental Ultra Race tires are good performance tires. You might want to think about changing them for Conti Gatorskins though, because they appear to be more geared for competition and would not provide you with the kind of flat protection that you would need for commuting.
