I recently purchased a set of Neuvation R 28 SL wheels with Hutchinson Fusion Comp tires. For what I paid, I'm pleased with the way that they ride so far. However, I have had no less than 15 flats between both wheels. Each time I changed the tube, I checked the inside of the tires and found no issues, the inside of the rims for burrs and found none, the spokes (which are not protruding), and the rim tape (which is in tact). I know that I'm not damaging the tubes while reseating the tires on the rims.
Does anyone have Neuvation wheels and have had the same problem? Any ideas as to why this might be occurring? As far as I know, there's no psi limit on the rims (i.e. American Classic Sprint 350 wheelset). Anybody know anything about the tires? Is the compound overly soft and prone to punctures? Am I missing something?
This is driving me up a wall - I'm about to ditch the wheels and would really appreciate some help!!!
