I saw that too, after I posted this question. I hope they haven't ceased production. I've been on
the lookout for a while now but I don't think they ever reached these shores, at least not in 26".

Do you know of any other wide-ish (2" or greater) slick tyres?

Wiggle do quite a range of Maxxis tyres (including the slightly embarassingly named Ringworm), they
don't have the Hookworm but you can email them about products they don't currently supply, it might
be worth a try.

If you're looking for some big slicks what about Schawalbe's Big Apple? Never tried them myself and
they're not completely slick but they are a big, bouncy urban tyre and seem to have had some good
reviews; take a look at wiggle.co.ukv2 product detail.aspOpen ↗ if you're
interested.

I,m currently using Continental Top Touring 2000 26 by 1.75. Also sold by Wiggle. Not as fat as
your looking for but fast rolling and big enough for cushioning. Fairly punture proof. I,ve used
the Conti Avenue Semi slicks before as well. - Very fast and comfortable but very puncture prone.
