HELP - Looking for chipped beef in southern NY

Armour Brand. In a jar. Found in the canned meats section of most any supermarket.

Yep, then you just add it to cream gravy and serve it over toast. I'm a military brat; I love
the convenience of the Stouffers frozen stuff boil-n-bag (nukeable) that Nancy mentioned. So
does my father; a retired Col. USMC. He's the one got me hooked on the stuff, although it took
30 years to do it!

Yeah, but...this is thin (rolled up) slices of what appears to be a pressed beef sausage of some
sort. I swear I remember 'chipped beef' in similar small jars/glasses that was more like actual beef
shreds. Something like super-thin sliced jerky, only softer.

Stouffers makes it. Look in the frozen food section. Armour also makes the dried beef in a glass
jar. Look for it in the same section that corned beef hash and such are found.

Yep. Small, tall jars with a red press-on cap. Haven't seen any in years, (or looked to tell the
truth). Looks a bit like katsuo..
