  1. Dear people

I am 23 years old male and ethnic origin chinese but born
and brought up in UK. I took 2 or 3 anabolic dianabol
steroid tablets a day for roughly two weeks last year. I
then found alternatives called RipFast (www.ripfast.com) and
changed my muscle building daily intake to their products
(which consisted of more tablets (similar to anabolic
dianabol steroids)) - reason for all this was to impress and
protect my girlfriend - I am a weakling with muscles small
compared to average 23 year old males. I also was a fan of
many high-strength vitamin tablets like Berroca (1667% RDA
for various vits) and took them everyday. Now I stopped
everything once I realised the damaging effects on my liver
    and kidneys.

I need advice on the restoration/rebuilding of my liver and
kidneys. I had 3,4 blood tests over the past couple of
months and all the results were sky high. Abnormal values
for certain zymines (or whatever they are). I haven't told
my doctor about my past steroid taking or muscle-building
product/tablets. The fact is that I am on prescription of a
mild dose (250mg) of antibiotics ( for mild ance) and
another for my anti-ich, and another for my depression. I
think these are enough for my liver.

I am wondering if someone can give me advice on
meat/vegetables/fruits which are strong and good for the
liver/kidneys to heal/rebuild. How about red wine? Is it
true it's good for the liver? I know I have been stupid with
these drugs (good and bad). I have learnt my lesson. Please
help me. Also I have been feeling pains in the lower right.

return to your doc PRONTO and confess past steroid
    transgressions...

It is impossible to state what effects these three meds can
have on your liver...likely all three need to be stopped
until your "skyhigh" enzymes return to normal...

do not waste time on newsgroups seeking an easy
answer...livers can heal..but only by removing the offending
    substances..

you may still be taking some...

    hawki.....

  3. You are probably celiac.

this is what scares me about this group!!!

a poster comes on and admits to taking heavy duty anabolic
steroids...and that his liver enzymes are "sky high" and
someone jumps in with a diagnosis

HELLLLOOOOO.....what about the drugs he has been taking??

the only advice for this kid is to return to doc
ASAP...admit the steroids..and be evaluated to eliminate at
least for awhile ANY meds that can further tax the liver....

    hawki.....

Thanks for all your help. I spoken to my doctor and told
him about my past steroid taking. He's told me to stop all
medications (anti-biotics, and prozac). Just wait 2,3
weeks for another liver/kidney test - my last one was just
    slightly worst than previous one.

That's great to hear, how did he take it? Hopefully your
next test will have better results. Did your doctor say
anything about seeing a specialist, maybe depending upon the
results of your next test or give you any idea of what he
    thought further treatment would entail?

I still didn't get any advice on eating. But I will seek a
qualified herbalist for some liver/kidney healing stuff
(milk thistle, etc) - and I'll try and get a juicer and
    make lots of juices.

I'm wondering whether maybe a good dietitian would be of any
help in determining what foods you should and shouldn't eat?
    Just a thought...

    Anyway, good luck!
