  1. Thanks everyone for your vigilance and good wishes.
The Greenspeed was caught on CCTV being carried away in a trailer being
    towed by a Mondeo.
It was found this morning only quarter of a mile from where it was taken,
outside a wardens office, with nothing worse than a bent bottle cage.

    Thanks again

    Cheers
    John

Great news! Thanks for the update.

Now off to bash in some Mondeo windscreens ;-) (unfortunately the police
    drives Mondeos around here :-/)

    Cheers,

Mr. Sherman is always at his best when he is supplying nothing but purely
factual information. But God help us if he offers an opinion on anything.
Then he is out of his element and is at sea, a poor wayfaring stranger to
    rationality and intellect.

I never know what Mr. Tom is talking about half the time, and the rest of
the time when I do know what he is talking about I think he s is just about
the most unfunny person that has ever existed. He has an engineer's sense of
humor. These types are known only for their weirdness. They are also known
for beating a dead horse and never growing tired of it. I think they have
permanently arrested in a teenager mode. We use to call it sophomoric humor
when I was a kid. I think now a days it is called just plain stupid!

    Ahh!
    A good telling off!
    Hey Ho.
Never mind, I only drop in now and again, and will probably drop out for a
while now to avoid the abuse.
If we all had the same humour the world would be pretty dull. Luckily, the
different backgrounds, ethnic cultures and ways of thinking make the world a
more colourful place. I for one enjoy it, but perhaps I'm 'just plain
    stupid!'

    Cheers

John, all my invective is directed solely at Mr. Sherman, otherwise known as
Mr. Tom. Your post was just another opportunity for me to get at HIM, not
you. He is ever my nemesis and we are both going to go to hell together for
our sins. Down there in the nether regions I will continue to plague him as
there is nothing I enjoy more in this world or the next and there is nothing
he deserves more in this world or the next. Of course, he could always
recant all his heresies and be saved, but he is a dyed in the wool liberal
and so is forever damned! He is truly a lost soul.

Wow, if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black!

Wow, if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black!

This pot can never see the kettle, let alone its color. I am a law unto
myself as everyone by now should realize. When everything else grows
tiresome, there is always Mr. Sherman for me to zero in on. I must admit
lately he has not given me much ammunition to play with (is he on vacation?)
but he will come through inevitably and say some really asinine liberal
things sooner or later - because it is his nature and he does not know any
better. He is like a donkey on a turnstile-like treadmill and I am here to
swat him on his ass as he goes round and round.

By the way, my humor is strictly parody. I do not have brains enough to try
wit. I leave that to the witless like Mr. Sherman who is always in over his
head because of it. A man has got to know his limitations!
