Ordered a cargo carrying cycle trailer (bykaboose Geko) last week from a internet company for a cycling trip starting Saturday. Phoned company this morning to be told that it is out of stock!
Anyone any idea where I can get a fairly cheap trailer delivered near Bath before Saturday? Alternatively I am happy to travel to pick up a suitable trailer.
I can get the Carry freedom city trailer locally for £250 or I could get a Burley trailer for £260 from Wiggle. I was really looking for a big storage area and therefore the carry freedom city is not suitable. I was also not looking at spending that much!
Any ideas? If none are forthcoming then it will probably be the Burley from Wiggle.

Got a Croozer Cargo here, used for demo only £100 including delivery, also got a Carry Freedom small Y Frame, has the stubs for attaching a plastic box and straps, 3 hitches. £180 inc. delivery.

Withington Cycles as do a large selection of trailers. Croozer Cargo also 100 new inc delivery.
at 70 but it's not a nice (high hitch for starters).
For my money, it's still hard to beat a BoB YaK, but they are expensive. The main advantage of two wheeled trailers over the BoB should be the greater load, but both the ones above only carry 30kg (same as the BoB). Though they are half the price or less.

I used a Bike Hod for many years. A great urban trailer, not such a good fast touring trailer because of high centre of gravity. If I was going for high speed touring now I'd get a Weber Monoporter. Edinburgh Bicycle certainly had them in stock ten days ago, because I had a very careful look at one.

My current project is building a new cargo trailer. It is slowly taking shape (each set of joints takes a couple of hours to mitre and braze) or at least it was until I ran out of Oxygen..
Still, it is up to the point where I can fit a wheel to one side and it starts to look like it means business.

If was after a trailer for touring (And touring alone) I'd buy one of these:
I've not towed a Monoporter so I can't fairly compare, but (admittedly unladen), this thing had absolutely no effect on the bike at all. I was always aware of the Yak (Partly 'cos it rattles like hell unladen), but just having it there affected the feel of the bike on tight turns. The Extra Wheel had no such effect.
It is of course, of far less use in town as a practical trailer than any of the other monowheel trailers due to the inability to carry large single items in any useful manner.
