    Looking for advice on a new Carbon frame. Im 6ft 5'', and 108kg (ex-rugby player now cyclist).
    Im currently on a Cippo LTD S5 -specialized and it is too flexy when I kick!!!. and it is lousy on 120km plus rides.
    I want to go back to carbon and I want to be comfortable on the long rides but still do a bit of crit racing. here is the killer Im on a budget of about $3500AUS.
    I am currently considering an Orbea Onix, Kestrel Evoke (sweet paint job), Kuota kredo and Look 555 or 481. I am not keen on the trek as I cracked one racing crits in melbourne two years ago and had trouble with the warranty.
    Any help/advice would be great

    You might want to check out Calfee Design (calfeedesign.comcalfeedesign.com). I think I remember Bicycling magazine recomending them to a big guy looking for a strong carbon bike. Their larger frame sizes come with "extra stiff" tubing, and you can order "super stiff" tubing at an additional cost. I have no personal experiences with the bikes or company, so I couldn't tell you much more except that their bikes have a pretty good reputation.

    Specialized Roubaix Pro (or comp). Great for long rides... REALLY comfortable! Can it handle the weight... I'm 118kg.

    Before buying a Kestrel Evoke, I emailed Kestrel with this very question. They said that of their bikes the Evoke was their best for a heavier rider. I weigh 210 pounds, (95Kg) and they said the Evoke was okay for riders up to 250 pounds, (113Kg)
