    Yes,

Did the helmet hit the ground?

    Yes, replace it.

Im not realy in agreement with that statement, but consider that the one time you crash at 80kmh. any small inperfection could mean alot of difference. personally i just inspect for any compresion of the poly, but then i ride dirt.

I like the Giro with the Roc Loc 4 adjustment feature. This allows you to adjust the fore to aft tension, with 2 fingers while you are riding. As the temperature changes, your head size can swell or shrink and this lets you fine tune the helmut pressure. I don't know if Bell has this.

Having a couple of Pneumo's, a Bell Sweep and now a LG Chrono (for tris) I can tell you that the Bell system is slightly easier to adjust on the fly then the Giro. The Bell version has a dial that you turn.

That must be pretty easy. All it takes to adjust the Rac Loc is either a squeeze or push with thumb and forefinger.

As I said I have had both and while they are both easy Bell's involves simply turning a dial and it tightens or loosens evenly. One thing I did not like about the Roc Loc was the way one side could cinch up more then the other side if you did not put even pressure on both sides.

  5. Helmets are cheap, better to be on the safe side and replace it
