Cycle with your head tilted to the side. That way you'll only suffer
bilateral whatever in one side, which'll make it unilateral.

That's one of the reasons I don't wear a helmet. I tend to sweat a lot,
particularly from the head and forehead when riding.

I wear a Buff when it's hot.

I prefer a trad cotton cycling cap: the peak is very handy to keep
direct sun out of the eyes (even when I'm in shades) and it's cooler
than a Buff. Buff is better when it's cooler as it can cover the ears,
and I either go for a Buff or Polar Buff when chillier still (I'm a pale
slaphead, so almost always wear some sort of hat for either sun or cold
protection.

We've had this exchange before, I must get around to buying another
cotton cycling cap.

I still had problems with sweat and salt getting in the eyes with a cap,
though, which is why I prefer the Buff.

Note my careful use of the capital B in Buff. Maybe I should have added

If you're looking for nekkid, there's a willow tree somewhere in Norfolk

And (the gross bit) the sweat runs to the end of the peak and drops clear.
