  1. Hi,
I'm looking for unusual tomato seeds. I have Bonnie Belle And Medici,
am willing to trade or purchase. I live in Toronto (minus 8C this
morning but lots of sunshine) so I need to start seedlings indoors
    early.

    Thank you
    Biff

We're doing the same thing getting started in the greenhouse and there are
    tons to choose from. Enjoy.

    Try rec.gardens.edible (I think that's the name) -- I'll bet you'll find
    lots of info there.

    Take a peak at http://www.johnnyseeds.com/catalog/index.html

They are located in Maine USA.

Never a problem for about 30 years.

  5. You must try the Brandywine Tomato. You should have enough heat and sun
in Toronto to grow the perfect acid/sugar balanced Brandywine Tomato. These
things win taste contests. Just eat one fresh off the vine and you will be a
convert. Seeds are widely available but if you find them impossible to buy,
send me an E-Mail and I will send you some seed. Don't start your seedlings
too soon or they will get long and skinny and weak by the time you set them
    outside.

  6. Give a look to seedsavers in Iowa. All heirloom seeds. Great
    quality.

  7. Biff,

I've never used them, but try Seeds of Change, www.seedsofchange.com

    I've heard they're very good.

And here's one that also popped up:
