    Yeah, I think a valium might be in order next time your HR gets up to 250. If there's a punchline on that one, lets here it.

    I'll bite... what were you doing when it hit 250bpm? Is that what they measured on you with a sonogram?

    DH GS Ski racing, it was more the nerves then the effort really. I have hit around 240 once while really trying to give it my all on a run one very hot and humid day. I am slightly hyperthyroidic which doesn’t help me case either (130lbs and 6’ tall, fast metabolism and hear rate).
