Before work and after work obviously.
But, I've been using it for specific stuff in mornings
and nights and it's not _that_ busy. Most people
I've seen on it would be 10 at the absolute max.
Problem is they're not all velo savvy and tend to
move around a bit much, then there's the kids and
the joggers and the.. ;-)

At the mention of "velodrome" I'd pictured the traditional banked track. I

Compared to a real velodrome it is pretty bad.
Compared to Whitehorse Rd. it's nice :-)

I think rickster said it "is a bikepath that goes
around in a circle" or something so don't think
of it as a velodrome and you'll be right.

It is good for doing some stuff that would be
tricky in traffic and with lights. E.g. I can't find
a lot of places where I can get my cadence
high (130+) without having to worry about
scoring a door prize or stop lights mid-spin.

My town (Collie, Western Australia) has a banked 330 metre velodrome with
lights, but the council wants to bulldoze it because nobody uses it.

well i wouldnt call it a traditional banked track🙂 it does have a slight
bank, but like hippy said, there's quite a few cracks, craters, bumps, kids
etc

You sometimes get the triatheletse training there. They aint got a lot
of manners. Was there one day when the coach was yelling at em.. "Its
ok to bump... it aint dangerous to bump" Next time around I said to
him.. "its bloody dangerous to bump me mate" Wanna find out how much
it can hurt."

Tend to stay of when the triathaletes are there these days .. lifes too
short.
