Have oneself caught the Trek Bug..?

I have nothing bad to say about TREK Bicycles but buying two bikes because you can't decide is a little odd.....😕 .

I once thought that I had caught the Trek bug, but as it turns out, it was only genital warts.

If this is for one person - return one bike! If it's for two that's ok!

Fuji Fever here. Just worked out that way. If I had found a Trek on sale that beat the Fuji Roubaix Pro I got I would be riding a Trek.

LOL. That got a laugh out of me that startled several people in my office. 😄

trek mountain bikes are nice, but their road bike selection has diminished to "you better have a lot of money" over the last few years. their bikes jump from entry level to expensive racer and there arnt a lot of inbetween choices. Sure, they make great bikes. They just lack middle ground. I think they do anyways.

Specialized is still making some inbetween bikes, Felt looks like a nice company as well. Im happy on my Allez, if i ever need to upgrade I wont know where to look to be honest. Ill probably buy a steel frame and build it up, I enjoy building bikes off a pre-built frame 🙂 and i want to know what steel road bikes are like 😄

You do realise that there are... ehm... a few other brands beyond Trek, Specialized and Felt in the road bike market, don't you?

well, ok theres lemond, lightspeed (if ya like Ti), jamis (looking VERY nice i might add), kestrel, etc, etc, etc.

but trek, specialized and felt are the ones ive found dealers for around here. Personally Specialized offers everything i need in a road bike. MTB i built myself from parts, and its all i need (hardtail, plain, simple, cheap)

one man's bug is another man's intensive marketing campaign....sadly, i've not been bitten.

I have owned and ridden Trek,Cannondale,Look but so far the Fondriest is the best frame I have been on.
The problem is trying to upgrade the motor. 😄
