Have I underestimated my FTP?

  1. I was doing one of my 90' L4 rides (3x30' w/out the breaks 😉 ) and I ended up riding the last hour @ 2w below my newly estimated FTP, including a 15' section where I averaged 102%.

    The first 30' was done at ~93% FTP. How much, if any, would this first segment compromise my ability to ride an hour @ FTP, keeping in mind the 15' @ 102%?

  2. Yes you've probably underestimated your FTP. What was the normalized power for the whole workout?

    Why not just do a 60 minute time trial and see what happens on your next scheduled L4 workout?

    sounds like the training is going very well. I'd suspect your FT is on the ride. Let us know when you re-test ...

    I don't know the normalized power, but the average power for 90' was 97% of my assumed FTP.
