Could be a Super Elliots. Shop still exists in Adelaide.

Got offered an interesting 60's road bike (from Sydney) Has reversable freewheel cluster/fixie rear hub thingo..still considering, ie: freight costs to Melboring.

You've reminded me that I've still got a hard rubbish fixie/ss candidate up for the taking... About 57cms, horizontal dropouts, graecross brand... http://tinyurl.com/agoy3 Come 'n get it!! I don't need this one...

Meanwhile my own ss townie resurrection of an old Raleigh is coming along nicely. Photos coming soon... However I've left the chromed steel 27" wheels on 🙂 Annoying, but my aim was to make up a good townie spending almost nothing, and it's pretty much been achieved!

If the bike's a good fit for you, I'd say get it. Wouldn't mind a filp-flop
hub myself.

I'm amazed at what you can do with hard rubbish and no extra cash 🙂 As such I wouldn't turn down anything, fitting or not! Point in case (which I'm quite proud of!):

And that's pretty much all without any cash outlay, except for 'consumables' such as tyres, chain and brake cables - The rest was all scavenged off the other bikes picked up that same week, and I've still got some guards and racks to go on to turn it into a full shoppo bike - although it seems a shame to clutter up such a nice naked bike...
