I appreciate the wish for good riding and good weather. I will work
the rides in around church services to thank Jesus for His sacrifice on
my behalf. I realize that you do not share my faith and that's OK.[censored] Durbin

Lance was smart enough to get out before Brian and the French could crucify
him.

I wonder what the four hour erection that they allude to is really like. Do
you stop at the Hall of Fame before going to the emergency room... or after?Bruce

ewww.... from what I've heard (read about it, that is, no personal
experience LOL) is that it's apparently quite painful and nothing to
joke about (okay, i know everyone is snickering anyways). -

God doesn't need a sacrifice. You do.
More like what we need is to *be* sacrificed.
The reason why the "Passion" story is so popular and takes up half the
gospels, is because it is the description of a mystery initiation
ceremony. The death/resurrection theme was common at the time and there
are many versions that predate the Jesus version. It isn't a bad story
if viewed in that light... -

I don't see anything terribly startling there. I suppose I would if I
were a biblical literalist. I don't think many people actually are if
they think about it. It's easier to say you are if you've never thought
about it.
