Thanks! We're celebrating Xmas and Chanukah. Both families. Not sure if I
spelled Chanukah right. Allegedly, they fell on the same day this year. I
have not looked at the calendar yet. Margaret would know. The food will
be medicore but good. Mother found some Brussels sprouts. I am doing them
myself. I'll do a saute' this time. Butter, S&P and thats about it.
Seems like we are having rib roast all weekend. I smell roast beef
sammiches next week. I gots fresh horsey radish too 😉

A vaguely good idea is to add an egg to a couple of cups of leftover mashed
potatoes. Now, if you want, you may stir in minced onion and even garlic
and oh... chopped parsley. Form the mixture into pancakes (this is the the
latke-sorta-thingey) dusted lightly with flour and brown in butter. There!
