[font=Times New Roman]Looking to put some new bars on my bike. There are so many good looking bars on the market so it is a little difficult to choose. I have spent the weekend looking at many types of bars and have finally narrowed it down to 2 bars. They are the ITM Millennium carbon wing road bar and the 4ZA Fynisher bars. [/font]

They are both wing bars and carbon wrapped with exposed carbon in non-tape areas. Also well priced. -

Did you also look at the FSA K-wing bars. They sound similar. I have it and love the K-Wing. -
I'm also in the market for a new handlebar. I'm looking at the FSA K-wing. My questions: How much does the handlebar (particularly a carbon h/b such as the K-wing) affect vibration / quality of ride?
Is it worth investing 400 aussie $ on a new set?

I went to my local bike shop to have a look at bars today and the FSA K- wing really stand out they look great. I also wonder about the quality of ride but if nothing else they loooooooook great. I wonder if you use carbon bars surely to get the full effect of the carbon you have to change to a carbon stem (which are not cheap) so I guess your 400 dollars changes to 600 dollars with a carbon stem. 😕 :eek: [font=Times New Roman]. I have not tried other carbon bars but I can ride without gloves or padding on the nude bar without a problem. I can ride centuries without upper extremity problems! Is it worth 400 dollars? Only you can decide but I got them on my bike and I will be buying them for my wife's as well. -

I have the K-Wing and with a FSA stem that is aluminum. I am not sure that they make a completely carbon stem. The front of the stem is carbon - the portion that binds and holds the bar. The nice thing about the K-Wing is that it is really well shaped for your hands. If you are riding on the hoods, then the base of the thumb fits into a flat section of the bar. It is a very comfortable bar that is well designed. -
Bought a used set of Cinelli RAM bars on ebay about a year ago. You could hang these on your wall as modern sculpture, the finish is absolutely beautiful.
Also, there was definitely an improvement in ride quality. The RAM bars are molded to fit your hands in at least four positions - in the drops, on the hoods, on the flats, and tucked into a semi aero position. They aren't cheap, but I love them.
Kinda [censored] getting the cables through the bars, but the resulting setup with Chorus shifters looks very clean.
