I bet he'll do pretty good. He's had two years to train without drug testing, so he's probably been hitting the test and the HGH like it's nobody's business. I hear he's put on 10 pounds of lean muscle. I bet his heart grew some too. I saw some pics and his head looks a little bigger.

I think he'll do really well. He absolutely crushed the field in the cycling leg of the triathlon he did in November. If he keeps the rubber side down I bet he podiums.

Should be quite a duel.
Basso will edge him out on the climbs and Hamilton will edge him out in the ITTs.
But will age gave dwindled Tyler's prime time efforts?

One thing I cannot wait to see is Tyler give Miss Danielson the look as they drop his little a@@ on the first big climb--for breaking Tyler's Mgt Washington record.

I wouldn't of thought Hamilton will rule the Giro. He won't be any better than in previous major Tours. Can't say i've got much time for him really. He is a rider from the old school who isn't abiding by today's rules.

I would say post 2000. Can't class anquitel or simpson. The knowledge wasn't high enough or the rules. Pantani's death wasn't due to doping to my knowledge.

What i'm saying is that these days everyone knows about it, even more than the cycling itself. It is definately cleaner today, Britain has quite a few in pro tour teams and there must be no tolerance for old riders stuck in there ways.

I think cycling has become cleaner, just witness the last Tour de France when I think a lot of riders showed considerable weakness the day after they went in a break etc. It is human nature to not perform as well the next day when you've made a crazy effort. All the top riders had bad days which is a sign that they are not all doped up machines like before. The same thing happened in the Giro where Savoldelli, Simoni, Cunego, Piepoli all took turns getting dropped. The only ones who were consistently up there was Basso and Enrique Guti and they were implicated in Puerto. However I don't believe in a totaly clean peloton. Simply too many guys getting caught for that assumption. However it is no point arguing with flyers finale cause he's decided that everyone is doping and always have been and that is how it is always going to be.....
It is not all black and white I say.

The big question with Hamilton is not whether he is doping, but can he stay on the bike? It will be interesting to see if Mr Crash And Burn can remain upright for the duration of the Giro.
