1. If everyone is doing it isn't cheating 2. If the doctor doesn't tell me what goes in my arm I can always claim I did not know what I am taking in 3. As long as I am passing the doping test I am not cheating.
I have a hunch most pro's are telling themselves that #1 is true. The scary thing is that they know more than we do 🙁
This type of thinking would get some of them through a lie detector test successfully. Being a sociopath DOES have some benefits.

Are you saying that pro bike racers are sociopaths? Sociopaths might find that rather insulting.
