I dropped in on a halfpipe today, for the first time ๐, it was a fairly small one though so I guess it's probably called a quaterpipe. It was easy on the KH24 but when I tried it on the 20" I couldn't stay on coz I ended up pedalling too fast.
Couldn't get very far up the other side but I might put in a bit more practice and see if I can't make it all the way up.
Have you forgotten 'this thread' (tinyurl.com3248f)Open โ I've stayed clear of halfpipes for a while, but once upon a time I dropped in on my old 24". I never made it very far up the other side either, but 'Einradfreak' (tinyurl.com3b5p4Open โ) seems to do pretty well at it.
it won't let me vote because the school computers are crud but i vote 'Not yet. I wanna have a go.' and i do ๐

I have a guy here at work who doesn't believe it can be done. I'd love to prove him wrong. Video is the only way that will happen because I sure as hell will not be doing it!

I wanna try. Theres a skatepark here in Philly where i feel i should give it a go. If anyone has played tony hawk 2 you'll know the one. Its fairly similar to the one in the game.

There's also a pic of einradfreak riding in a pipe, in the Euro Uni pics -thread.
I've dropped into a quarterpipre before, and was right on the edge of dropping into a halfpipe (another 2 inches and I would have been very quickly at the bottom), but chickened out at the last second.

Sounds exactly like an orthodic support for shoes, only different. Would this be called a butt-thodic support? or glutethodic? -S_Wallis ------------------------------------------------------------------------ paco's Profile: unicyclist.com3715Open โ View this thread: unicyclist.com29738Open โ
Quarterpipes, fine....but if you really want to grok a half- pipe, it needs to be on in-lines or a skateboard. And all those extra wheels don't count as "training wheels"....
