H****t mounted map light

  1. Someone was enquiring about this a few months ago. As I am confident of
    getting lost in the dark somewhere in Oxon tomorrow I have just fitted
    it. Basically the large hoop which normally goes around the seatpost
    goes around one of the ribs (it is flush inside). I experimented with
    various brackets as the LED lights seem to last about a 10th of the
    time the brackets do so I have an ample supply of the latter.

    What's that yellow thing the light is attached to?

  6. Mock if you wish; but it acquitted itself admirably today (the light
    that is, I had no need to use the giro as they don't have unemployed
    people in the Cotswolds) ;-)

  7. It worked admirably, at times better than the poxy Cateye I am ashamed
    to call my main beam. I refer to the lamp of course , I had no need to
    use the Giro in anger (as they don't have unemployed people in the
    Cotswolds)
