Someone was enquiring about this a few months ago. As I am confident of getting lost in the dark somewhere in Oxon tomorrow I have just fitted it. Basically the large hoop which normally goes around the seatpost goes around one of the ribs (it is flush inside). I experimented with various brackets as the LED lights seem to last about a 10th of the time the brackets do so I have an ample supply of the latter.

Mock if you wish; but it acquitted itself admirably today (the light that is, I had no need to use the giro as they don't have unemployed people in the Cotswolds) ;-)
It worked admirably, at times better than the poxy Cateye I am ashamed to call my main beam. I refer to the lamp of course , I had no need to use the Giro in anger (as they don't have unemployed people in the Cotswolds)
