Dunno. When we did time trials, we used to start at 6am, ride in
black, and pretend not to be racing.

We were held up for an hour or so one day due to some cycle race which
came down from the Yorks Dales. Roads should be closed and
alternative routes arranged and signed for such events.
They should be held between midnight and 7am.

Thay're not racing, those are time trials ;-) Or alternatively
they've got special permission to hold a race somehow or other.

Ahem. I was talking about kids. You know, baby goats. Anyway, I
couldn't eat my children even if I weren't a vegetarian. They're mostly
far too scrawny. I suppose the two youngest may be more sausage-
friendly though...
