Good for him. That sort of thing takes courage. And good to see he's come
back to racing.

It did take courage. This sort of thing reaches into every corner
of your life and turns it upside down. No one subjected to it could
ever take it lightly.

Screw you, Bob. courage, smourage. He wrote that letter TWO YEARS
AFTER getting busted. What a weasel. Screwed some teammates of points,
money, etc..... I know.

You're an idiot.
Bike racers screw themselves out of money by their own choice of
career.
But it's easy to blame someone else. "Blame" the other racer for
"cheating" you out of a few hundred bucks while you cost yourself tens
of thousands every year due to your career choice.
If you choose bike racing as a career, never, ever complain about
money. You did it to yourself.
thanks,
K. Gringioni.

Geez, sounds as bad as playing jazz.

Exactly. Because Bergman did what he did, somewhere there is a guy
that had to take an easier job that paid more. As injustice goes,
this is pretty minor. I'm not excusing what he did but really, I
have much more important things to be outraged about.

Dumbass -
Exactly.
Which is why I only did piano gigs solo and never started a band. And,
most importantly, never complained about lack of money.
thanks,
K. Gringioni.

Did anyone ask him to fully fess up? Give names and places? Lay it
out his doping full detail so this his enablers can be nailed too?
Or, are we all just pretending to try to stop doping?

Dumbass dumbass,
Everyone knows the pros just go down to TJ to buy their EPO. No one
helps them. ;-)

That's what Decanio did. How'd it work out for him?

At least in jazz, the drugs give you a better buzz -
but they are more habit-forming.
What's the jazz equivalent of a Masters Fattie? Playing
in a bad wedding band long past the point where you
should have got a day job and just jammed with your
friends on the weekend for fun (the jazz equivalent of
the Saturday Ride)?

Come to think of it, I can't recall Decanio blaming anyone but himself.
Where he get the smack from? Who was his supplier?

I don't know if that qualifies because any member of a band that plays
out has increased opportunities to get laid.
thanks,
K. Gringioni.
