2 Tomas Vaitkus (Ag2R Prevoyance)
1.13
3 Ignatas Konovalovas (Kl. DK "Sidabrine strele"-Panevežio KKSC)
1.36
Clearly, that's the guy.. but WTF is that team?
Uncanny. I was going to use that tagline in the sidebar, but you beat me to
it :-)
Jeff Joneses think alike. I wouldn't have been upset if you used it
anyway, it was an independent thought and it's not like I could've been
paid royalties. That goes for any time I might just happen to say
something unusually insightful, by the way. 😉
Quoted message said:I guess Raimondas just rides for a local team now. The Lithuanians
forgave him, IIRC.
I can't imagine how, or why.
Quoted message said:Vaitkus won both titles last year. Always hard to repeat that. Watch him on
Sunday if it's a small bunch sprint. He's the sort of guy that can lead out
for a kilometre at 60 km/h, then get out of the saddle and punch it home for
the last 150m.
Vaitkus is a pretty interesting rider. His palmares are short since
he's only 23, but they're already quite diverse. There are one-day
races, random breakaways in stage races, cobblestone classics, ITT's...
very impressive.
