Hi guys and gals, This is a serious question, although the
topic will probably really bring the trolls panting to this
thread. I made a serious training error four months ago when
I was combining a little speedwork and hills. I strained my
right calf muscle, but was too stubborn to stop, and
strained my right groin because I was "pulling" my leg
forward to avoid the calf pain. I have tried resting up to
3-4 weeks, stretching, ultrasound, cross-training. The pain
is definitely better, but when I try to run (after warming
up and stretching) the tightness in the groin returns and I
can't run without pain for several days. Anyone have a
similar problem? I'll laugh at the troll responses but would
appreciate intelligent replies as well.
