How often do you get the burning sensation? and the puss-like
discharges? They have a new antibiotic for the resistant strain.

Stop whining..........I'm sure that any problem you're having in the
pelvic region, is a small one.

Go to an orthopedist. If you are lucky and didn't royally screw
anything up you should be able to go through a Physical Therapy
program and be back running in a few months.
An excellent diagnosis/treatment/education site:

For what it is worth a running friend ran the 2003 Marine Corps
marathon with hip pain. Later found out he had 2 stress fractures in
his pelvis. He went through PT over the winter and spring. A few weeks
ago he ran a half marathon. He also does his exercises and stretches
religously.
You'll be back again.

Run moderately and stretch moderately for the next few weeks.
I overdo every few years and it goes away with time.
