Darn it, I've been reading that place name as "Plan de COJONES" since

Thank god/allah/buddha its not running on windoze boxes (particularly
using m$ cluster server). Just think how many times the giro (never

Well, it's not gravel but it is in pretty bad shape. Climbing is "ok" but
descending is becoming more dangerous with each passing winter. I really
wish they weren't paving that climb in Italy.

The realitysim designers slip this kind of thing in all
the time. Casual simoccupants never notice, and for the
minority of passionate fans/simplayers, it's an easter egg.
The simwriters like that sort of thing - it keeps the devotees'
attention. The suits upstairs say they don't like it,
but they like the money it brings in. Sometimes, when
a project is behind schedule and over budget, they'll
encourage it and everybody starts to cut corners.
That's probably what happened with the Giro. Even
though it's simItaly, the inevitable Italian-style delays
are in real time.

The modern craft (it's not exactly a science) of

They're having a hell of a time getting the Italian road
paving methods to work on an Appalachian instance of a
mountain class. I told those buttheads when they got
behind that they couldn't expect to just clone an
Appalachian mountain and get it to work.

They were supposed to have all the 9/11 stuff wrapped
up by now. It was another of those no-bid sweetheart
deals for Halliburton Software, I don't know why
