Hey Penny, can you make me some baggie riding shorts out of desert cammo? These DCCU's are chafing the h&ll out of me!-)

as always, just gotta find the right fabric. If you are serious, you know where to find me. You can also cut them off and wear regular lycra underneath.

Just a quick note to say "hi" to all my friends (and others) I'm alive and doing fine in the desert of Kuwait.
Thanks for the hard work!

It's required, DOD Regulations.... I also found out (when I got "pulled over" by the MP's) that the Barney Reflectors on the spokes, pedals, seatpost, and head-tube, are also _required_. Once the MP looked over my bike and figured out it was not the typical Huffy from the AAFES he let me slide, but it is something I need to tend to.
Ohh.. word of advice: Riding with NVG's (Night Vision Goggles) _seemed_ like a good idea, the other night..... it wasn't (ouch!-)
I've been hanging out with a lot of "your type" here...... Bunch of Crazy MoFo's

I would send pictures of riding around the bombed out Kuwait base, between here and The Rock, but it is a "Restricted Area", so I would not be riding there, except on the main road transiting the base, you understand.

[censored], had I known you were up there I would have taken my bike with me and stayed a few more days. I was in Ridgway and came back yesterday.
but it was kinda chilly, 22°F Friday morning, brrrrr and had to use the snowshoes to trek into the wtt (if your home has wheels...well you might just be a redneck, JF)
and it was near 90 when I came back into Phoenix
but it was in the 60's for the beginning of this mornings ride

Hey Clyde, Glad to hear you're doing fine.
Never transited Kuwait myself. When I go into Iraq it's through Jordan. Usually hop an OGA bird but been known to take what's available. I hear Kuwait is quite the garden spot.
