I bought some nectarines the other day, as much as I like them, they are usually rock hard when I buy them. These were ripe, that was a nice change.
Boy, were they good! White nectarines, I'll be picking up more of those if there are any left.

I've been eyeballing them lately. Maybe I'll pick some up at our produce stand this weekend. Thanks!

You were lucky, Nancy. I bought a box of peaches. Usually I'm pretty good about estimating when they'll all come due. This time, they withered, and remained hard as a rock until past their prime. You could hardly get a sharp knife into the skin/fuzz.
I think something must've zapped these. God awful! Dee Dee

Boy, the last few years, I've had rotten luck with peaches--literally. They'd get moldy before the were ripe. This year, I've actually had some good ones. Yum!

White nectarines are one of my favorite fruits. As a matter of fact, I just bought a dozen of them at the farmer's market yesterday. So good, and so juicy. I have a tree, but it's never quite recovered from the fires a few years back. There's maybe a dozen fruits on it this year, and no leaves at all on 1/2 of it. It's terribly sad!
I have 8 left to last me til next Sunday....

This is the kinda stuff that happens when they let killer bees pollinate indiscriminately. There oughtta be laws!
