  1. This looks like a pretty interesting event

Might just be tempted to have a try at this.

  2. It does! Well, what are you going to do? 😕

Looks good, Lim. Good chance to utilise those leg-miles you've been putting in.

  4. I'd love to give it a go - Michele Bartoli was (is) a great cyclist and to get the chance to pedal around Tuscany with Bartoli-Tifosi and even perhaps meet Lelli and Bartoli would be superb.

I have to get clearance first though for "her indoors" (ie the wife!).

  5. C'mon Lim, you should be able to 'sell' a long Tuscan weekend to the Minister of the Interior. :p

Do it right, take her to an agriturismo... why not the nice one that Andrea Tafi set up... so that he can give you a few pointers on winning a Ronde?

I am trying to convince the wife that we need to spend a week or so there!

    Beautiful PP.

Thanks for that link - those farmhouses look fantastic.

    Tafi's obviously from Tuscany??
He was another great rider - much like Jens Voigt today - he'd go for a flyer and try a breakaway.
