  1. Hi
I'm looking for a specific running Gps system and on this website
www.gpsnews.org i discovered the review of new Navman R300.
Someone used it? It's a good Gps for my traing?
    Thanks for your help.

Yes, you'll run much faster with it.

    Not for running.

It's a good navigational aid. Helps prevent one from getting
lost (like you appear to be now ... )

You don't say how you train or what kind of obstacles are around to know
if it's good for *your* training.

It would be terrible for *my* training, based on the review you posted:
Small numbers that are hard to read
Positioned on arm where hard to see (think winter layers in Alaska),
although I suppose it could be put elsewhere.
Buttons that look small and are probably hard to work with mittens
No back light making it almost useless in dark, when many runners run.
    Doesn't have cumulative elevation gain.
No indication that it's downloadable (what good is a toy that can't feed
information to my computer?), which means I can't map trails with it.

Just some suggestions for your next design if it's to be used *while*
    running.

In general, the GPS devices have issues with clear sky and if satellite
gods are smiling when you're running (aka there's a bunch of satellites
even without local obstacles). The satellites just about abandoned my
location in the middle of my run (mapping trails) yesterday (came back
shortly) - not local obstacle issue, just satellite configuration
    (confirmed via software).

    Dot
snow at about 6000ft 🙂 (no, wasn't running there, but visible from home)

  6. You are a spammer !!. You have put a comment with dirty words on my
site. (unfortunatly for you was blocked by antispam system!)
I only insert a request for a device I'm looking for.

  7. Tanks for your tips.
Are there others Gps devices you suggest or you know ?

In New York I never use a GPS; instead I leave a trail of poisoned
bread crumbs. Then to return to my starting point, I follow the trail
    of dead rats.

I wouldn't suggest a GPS device for training until you know how to run
by effort. (mine sit at home most of the time) You haven't mentioned how
you wanted to use a GPS in your training or how you train to even begin
to make suggestions. You might google this group for "gps" for earlier
discussions as well as links to other groups with more detailed
    discussions on gps units.
