This was in the Balerno region so; the west of Edinburgh
and west Lothian (most of which I was wearing earlier ,
well it had been rainy for a couple of days) it is days like
this that make you glad you get to pick and choose
hours/days that you work.
Yes, wasn't it? Shame about the p*nct*re fairy. Still worse a shame was
the fact that I p*nct*red on Wednesday at Dalbeattie, and when I took
the tyre off to investigate today's I found a sharp edged shard of
Dalbeattie granite inside my tyre... Bah.
Still, as you say, a lovely day for a run, and the bike and I came back
suitably filthy - one of those 'strip off and throw everything into the
washing machine' rides.
